The Spencer Scholarship due date is fast approaching!

This again is a unique scholarship available to both Tri-Central and Tipton High School graduates. This scholarship is renewable up to a total of four years. Money awarded is credited to the students 2nd semester tuition.

Every year we speak to graduating Seniors regarding this scholarship and what it entails to apply both as a "New" applicant or a "Renewal" applicant. The Spenser Scholarship also provided a "New/Initial" application in the "Senior Graduation Packets" to submit should they choose. It can also be found on our website and the link below.

This year for "Renewal" the scholarship committee decided to have an online "Link" for students to submit the Renewal application ( Link Below ). Because the "Link" is new to the Renewal applicants, we are still accepting the traditional "Hard/Physical" application form for Renewals. You can still get this off the school website and at the link below or pick up a Renewal application in the high school Guidance Office.

As for the "New" application for 1st time applicants, "No Online Link " exists. Please do Not use this as it will not be accepted by the joint school/PNC scholarship committee.

All applications along with the corresponding ancillary materials must be in the guidance office by Friday, September 29th to be considered for acceptance.

Each application depending on which one being submitted has differing requirements that may inhibit meeting the deadline above. Please be aware of them. The "New" application form involves "3" letters of recommendation and must come from the appropriate individuals as stated in the guidelines on the application. In years past these " three letters" have not been received by the due date.

Late arrivals cannot be accepted per scholarship trust requirements. We encourage you to gather all three sealed letters and submit along with application so that you are not dependent upon the application being possibly considered incomplete.
For "Renewals" the scholarship/trust rules require the most recent "official" transcript be sent. This cannot be a phot copy or a photo e-mailed to the guidance department but must come from directly from the university.

Feel free to check with us to see if your application and required materials have been received. Please allow adequate time to resubmit materials when checking with us.
