I am from Griffith, Indiana very close to Chicago and went to school at IUPUI for education. I have been a teacher for the past five years and decided I wanted to help kids more with their emotions and the problems they are having so I am currently back in school at Indiana Wesleyan University for mental health and school counseling. I am the only girl in my family, back home I have my dad and two brothers who have taught me everything I know about sports, specifically football. I do have a dog named Lucy, she is very hyper but also so sweet! When I am not working or working on school myself, I am working out, reading, watching movies or hanging out with my friends and family. I have taught kindergarten, second, fifth and seventh grade. Also, in my free time I volunteer for a summer camp! I also enjoy coaching a lot, especially volleyball. I work with kids on their social needs and emotions in a lot of different ways. I am excited to get back into the classroom to start teaching these lessons. I plan on bringing a lot of fun new ideas to Tri-Central Elementary and I am so glad to be here!
