Tri-Central Elementary School

On Friday, September 27th, our 1st grade students learned about their five senses. With the assistance of 4th grade students, 1st graders taste tested fruit loops, pickles, Skittles, etc. in the tasting station. At the sound station, they identified sounds they hear everyday. Students were asked to sniff and identify smells like lemon, onions, and even a stinky sock! They used their adjectives to describe what they felt inside the touch bucket without using any of their other senses. It was such a fun STEM Friday.
